Jeanie Marie Buss (born Jeanie Marie Buss) is a famous American woman who is a businesswoman. She is the controlling owner of the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association and currently is the president of the organization. Buss, a Californian native, grew up with an affluent family background. Jerry Buss' father was a real-estate magnate who was later a part owner of the Lakers along with several other companies in the field of sports. The emotional strain she felt was exacerbated after her parents split in the year 1972. When she was 19, she was employed in the family business. She founded later the Los Angeles Blades, a professional, roller-hockey club. Prior to becoming vice-president of the Lakers, she served as president of Great Western Forum. Buss along with her five sisters took over the Lakers control following the passing of Buss' father in 2013. Each of the sisters had equal rights. Buss assumed the role as President for the Los Angeles Lakers. Buss is also the co-owner of Women of Wrestling, a professional promotion of wrestling with its headquarter within Los Angeles.
